چکیده مقاله:

Aquatic insects spend some part of their lives in the water. They lay their eggs in the water and spend their larval and pupal stages in the water. Adults emerge from the waterand seek for mating and reproductive activity and then lay their eggs in the water again. These insects have a wide variety of breeding sites in Iran. In this study, all the samples were collected from Shapour River, Kazeroon, Fars Province, Iran (29° 45 34.3 (29.7595°) N, 51° 33 17.1 (51.5548°) E, using different types of equipment during the autumn in 2017. The insects were collected and identified using appropriate keys. They are listed as follow: Anopheles dthali, Culex pusillus, Culex quinquefasciatus, Culex pipiens, Culex pseudovishnui, Culex theileri, Culex laticinctus, Culex perexiguus, Culiseta longiareolata (Diptera: Culicidae), three families including Hydrophilidae (Coleoptera: Polyphaga), Dytiscidae (Coleoptera: Adephaga) and Gerridae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera). The relative humidity was 45-70 and the air and water temperatures were 30±5 °C and 20±2 °C, respectively. The water pH was 6.5 and the depth of the river was about 10-30 cm.
