Electrochemical study of acetaminophen in presence of gentamicin

The investigation of electro-oxidation of acetaminophen and its derivatives show that the formed gentamicin are quite reactive and can be attacked as the Michael acceptors producting various compounds. In this direction, has been studied in the presence gentamicin in the proper condition[1]. In this work, the cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry were selected as methods used for electrochemical studies, mechanism elusidation and optimization of electrolysis conditions. The final products were characterized after separation by using of spectrometric methods as IR, 1HNMR,13CNMR, MS as indicated in the text[2,3].
