چکیده مقاله:
Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) is a practical and powerful approach to prioritize errors related to human actions, based on probabilities. HEART can determine error producing conditions (EPCs) which cause human errors for different processes. Decisions can be made as to the prevention of potential human errors or reduction of the impacts of these errors by additional controls. HEART considers nominal human unreliability probability to determine the most important human errors that should be prevented. HEART is quickly applicable to any situation or industry where human reliability is important. However, it has many deficiencies for real life error assessments. In this context, this study aims to improve effective usage of this technique by implementing multi-criteria decision making based on The Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL). The reason to perform DEMATEL is to show the interactions between Main Tasks (MTs), Sub Tasks (STs) and EPCs in a process. An integrated approach is suggested to compute importance weights of MTs, STs and EPCs. In addition the proposed approach provides flexibility to categorize STs in different Generic Task Types (GTTs). To utilize the proposed approach, an example for steam boiler working process is given
