چکیده مقاله:

The soils of Office du Niger former highly productive rice lands are becoming increasingly degraded by alkalization (pH 4.1 to 6.0). This degradation has been highlighted by the work of several researchers who report strong acid pH (pH <5.5) or Al, Fe, and Mn are potentially toxic, so-called normal pH (pH 5.6 to 7.3) The alkaline pH (pH 7.4 to 8.4) and sodium pH (pH> 8.5). This study aims to contribute to research efforts to evalu ate the status of soils degradation in the Niger Office zone. It has the specific objective to assess the status of soils degradation of the Office du Niger based on the pH reaction. The study was conducted by the soil exploration, physical and chemical analysis of soil in the laboratory. The results show that 22% of soils are strongly acid (pH <5.5). 39% have a normal pH (5.6 to 7, 3). 19% of soils are moderately alkaline pH (pH 7.4 to 8.4) and 20% of highly alkaline soils (pH> 8.5).
