The Origins of Medical Ethics in Persia

Background and Aim: Medicine is the decision making and management of human body and mind with the aim of establishing health and freeing from pain and suffering. It is very important to manage painful illnesses and to find solutions that will reduce their pain by taking into account morality and maintaining the dignity and dignity of patients Materials and Methods: In this lecture, the orders and patterns of medical ethics in the books of the source of Iranian literary and ethical issues have been presented (Ferdowsi s Shahnameh, Molana Masnavi maanavi, animal language Attar, Tazkera al-Awlia, the revival of science of Ave Sina, al-Din al-Mohammad al-Ghazali, Al-Din Nasafi, the Savior of Khwarazmshahi, Seyyed Isma il Jarjani, Al-Sharia and Al-Tunbhahat of Ibn Sina, the Avesta Zoroastrianism, Buddha s teachings and Confucius wisdom) with the universal and accepted forms of medical ethics (Hippocrates, Tayrooks, Roths, Gleigan, Sara Farai, Bichamps and Childers and Socrates ), Which is now taught by western sources Results: Based on the educational samples and the contents of Iranian literature sources and the teaching of ancient and modern medical ethics, there are current ethical teachings in Iranian sources. Five principles of the ancient and modern medicine of western medicine were numerous in the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi and Masnavi maanavi of Molana. Conclusion: Iranian literary and ethical sources such as Ferdowsi s Shahnameh, Masnavi-e-Maanavi, Golestan Saadi and Iranian medical works can be used as a valid and scientific source for compilation of ethical patterns in the range, education, treatment and medical research used.
