چکیده مقاله:

in this paper, type-1 and type-2 fuzzy controllers are designed for controlling the rotor speed related to rotor of Gas Turbine. The mentioned controllers try to keep the turbine speed within adequate limits during startup and also normal operation. The controlled variable is speed and rate of fuel is manipulating variable. The fuzzy controller (type-1 and type-2) is simulated using TS (Takagi Sugeno) method. Error (E) and rate of change of error (CE) are input signals and fuel flow changing is output for the controllers. Also, the limitation on the fuel flow and speed of rotor are implemented. The model of GT (linear) is considered to the controllers. The performance of type-1 and type-2 fuzzy controllers is checked in the MATLAB Simulink software. The demand power as disturbance is considered for simulation.The comparison is done for simulation result as well as with H∞ robust and MPC controllers. It is obvious that type-2 fuzzy controller reduces the overshoot and settling time as compared with type-1 fuzzy, MPC and H∞ controller. Type-2 fuzzy controller response is better than MPC and fuel constraint is maintained in a smoother way.
