چکیده مقاله:

Metacognition is referred to as the conscious control of cognitive activities. Metacognition is cognitive, beyond cognition and normal thinking, and the individual s awareness of cognition, learning, and thinking. This review article concludes that metacognition plays a significant role in students meaningful learning, as well as learners during learning with Learning strategies can be better understood and students who have the opportunity to learn and understand metacognitive strategies and skills will learn more and better than other learners. In fact, the use of meta-cognitive techniques and methods of instruction and the organization of university courses based on these processes can greatly enhance the quality and quality of teaching in universities. Using these principles and strategies not only improves students learning efficiency, but also makes them active learners who can equip themselves with effective learning strategies in all areas of learning and problem solving
