چکیده مقاله:

Today, one of the main problems of human life is the overwhelming attention paid to the driver motion as a result of neglecting the pedestrian motion and organizing its spaces. The lack of attention to the human scale and neglecting the needs of pedestrians are among the problems we would face, as the shortage and lack of quality on the sidewalks have led to weakening the presence and social interactions of citizens and reducing the vitality. The present study has been conducted based on the field observation and descriptive-analytical method. Criteria and indicators of lively urban space and pedestrian environment were determined in the study area (Haft Hoz). The questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS software using one-sample t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient, to study the relationship and the effect of these parameters on the urban space. The results of this research indicate that the vitality of the Narmak district has influenced the quality of pedestrian traffic in Narmak district with a correlation coefficient of 0.762. A variety of effect of these methods on the sidewalk and pedestrian can be found in the Narmak district
