چکیده مقاله:
The need for power generation in Iran increases day by day due to various factors. Monitoring and control of power plants is necessary during their life time. Using Internet of Things technology for monitoring power generation can increase the performance, efficiency and improve operation and maintenance of the plant. By IoT technology development, the cost of its sensors is dropping, therefore they can be easily used in industrial centers. Due to the large number of thermal power plants in Iran, it is possible to improve power plants performance and efficiency by using Internet of Things for gathering plant’s different parameters and signals. In this paper, at first compare between Different IoT-based communication technologies for using in thermal power plant and then smart remote control and monitoring system of thermal power plant based on using IoT technology is discussed for performance evaluation of the plant based on specific functional parameters. The performance will increased by smart monitoring system.
