چکیده مقاله:
The increasing importance of noble metal clusters has made their structure determination one of the hottopics of the day. Vibrational spectroscopy is one of the classically efficient ways for this goal. In this work we haveused a particular kind of photon-dissociation spectroscopy called the messenger technique alongside resonanceRaman scattering to increase the efficiency and sensitivity of the structure determination process. We have used threeclosed-shell silver clusters Ag4, 6, 8 interacted with ligand N2 for our research. The results show great improvementscompared to other spectroscopic methods indicating that this method could be a great replacement in cases that IRspectroscopy fails to give accurate results.
