چکیده مقاله:

The present study focused on the ultrasonic assisted simultaneous removal of dibenzyl amine (DBA) and 2-biphenyl amine (BPA) from aqueous media following using Magnetic Fe3O4/bentonite nanocomposite as a newadsorbent. The structure and morphology of nanocomposite was identified by SEM and XRD analysis. The evaluationand estimation of equilibrium data from traditional isotherm models display that the Tempkin model indicated the bestfit to the equilibrium data, while the adsorption rate efficiently follows the pseudo-second-order model. The obtainedthermodynamic parameters (i.e. namely, ΔG0, ΔH0 and ΔS0) showed that the adsorption on the nanocomposite wasendothermic and spontaneous. Results indicated that the synthesized nanocomposite may be costly adsorbents fororganic removal.
