چکیده مقاله:

Introduction & Aim: Hope, is look at the abilities. Empowerment is a key factor in managing of severe diseases. Breast cancer can lead to a reduction in empowerment and Hope promotion is a strategy to achieve empowerment. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors promoting hope in women with breast cancer. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted with the method of conventional content analysis in 2017, in this study, 17 women with breast cancer who referred to inpatient and outpatient department of Hospital Shohada-e-Tajrish interviewed. Purposive sampling at the maximum variation in clinical and demographic characteristics was applied. The analysis was performed simultaneously with the data collection with Graneheim and Lundman method. Typing and analyzing data were used with soft wares of the Word and MAX-QD10. The Lincoln and Guba criteria were used to verify the truthfulness of the data. The provisions of ethics and legal permissions to enter the research environment and informed consent was respected strictly.Results: Empowerment of the Women with breast cancer includes:1-Physical empowerment: Physical potency and Efficiency.2-Psychic empowerment: Acceptance (The ability to pass away from grief and Adherence to treatment and care).3-Mental empowerment: mental creativity (positive cognitive redefinition, Problem-solving ability) and mental training (The power of thought).Conclusion: The results of this study suggest hope promotion strategies in women with breast cancer. With this hope that therapists and caregivers to design and implement an appropriate empowerment model for hope promotion.
