چکیده مقاله:

Agrimonia L The current study devoted to leaf (including blade and midrib) anatomical studied of the genus A. eupatoria sub , .from Iran, comprising A. eupatoria L. and three subspecies A. eupatoria Subsp. eupatoria L and A. eupatoria subsp. grandis Juz. At first, the specimens were collected and their sp. asiatica (Juz.) Skalický identified. Then leaf cross sections were prepared by hand and the best sections were taken for staining and light microscope studies. The result showed that all the studied taxa share cylindrical trichome, glands with stalk and shape midrib with V ;round head, 1-3 palisade and 1-4 spongy layers and isobilateral to dorsiventral mesophyll amphicribral vascular bundle. To determine the relationship between the studied taxa, 17 quantitative characters were undertaken in principal component analysis (PCA). The result of this analysis led to formation of 3 groups in which thickness of palisade parenchyma, length of the upper and lower epidermis of blade and midrib formed the first group; upper and lower parenchyma thickness, length of xylem, phloem and midrib isolated the second group and upper and lower collenchyma and blade thickness separated the third group. Based on the current survey, leaf anatomical characters do not show differences and have restricted taxonomical value in this genus..While Principal component analysis of these traits are able to explain the intraspecific relationship
