In the study under the title of The morphology and karyological Sanjaback tree (Glis glis) in Guilan province for master’s thesis animal biosystematics which carried out, in four research stations: Fooman, Masal, Rezvan-shhr and Lahyjan, five tree Sanjaback (Glis glis) (3 males and 2 females sample), using gloves were of collected alive in to the trunks of the trees in their natural nests. The sample after morphological, morphometrical and biometrical study on every individual sample for kariological studies using Ford and Hamerton methods (Ford and Hamerton 1995) from bone marrow cells karyotype samples were repaired. In the analysis of a diploid, chromosome number of (2n) chromosome 62 were counted. Being based on the position of the centromere in chromosomes, 17 pairs of autosomal chromosomes in small and medium-sized metacentric, 11 pairs of autosomal chromosomes with variable sizes metacentric and two pairs of autosomal chromosomes were sub-Telocentric.The results also showed that the sex chromosome X was the biggest chromosomes among metacentric chromo-somes and Y chromosomes was the smallest chromosomes and acrocentric.The total number of autosomal arms (NFA) were 120 and the number of chromosome arms (NF) for females 124 number and for males 122 number were counted.
