Application of New Meta-heuristic Algorithm to Solve Optimal Reactive Power Dispatch in Power System

Reactive power dispatch is one of the most important keys in order to present good facility secure and profitable operation. In this paper multi-objective algorithm has been considered to solve reactive power dispatch problem with considering operational constraints of the generators. This problem solving is useful to improve the voltage profile, to reduce losses, to improve voltage stability etc. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by comparing its performance with other evolutionary multi objective optimization algorithms. Obtained results demonstrate the validity of proposed model.
