A survey and assessment of the quality of buildings in the middle textures of Mazandaran province cities (Case study: Middle texture of Amol city)

The present study is aimed to evaluate and assess the quality of buildings in the middle texture of Amol city. The study methodology is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation. The study population is all citizens of Amol city and 278 citizens were selected as the study sample. To collect data, the questionnaire of quality of urban buildings and for middle textures and social capital, a researcher-built questionnaire is applied. To analyze the data, besides descriptive test, the data normality test (K.S), Pearson correlation and regression are used and the results show that there is a significant relationship between the quality of environment of AMol city and middle texture at the level 0.05 and environmental factors, social indices, spatial belonging have significant effect on the increase or decrease of environmental quality of Amol city.
