Migration of Labor Force from Iran to the United Arab Emirates

The purpose of the present paper is to study the migration of Iranian labor force to the United Arab Emirates in the past few decades To achieve this objective , first a theoretical framework for an international migration of labor force has been established in order to support our discussion of the international migration from Iran . Second , the causes of this migration and the situations of Iranian migrants in the United Arab Emirates is explained It is argued that the causes are related to the origin society (Iran) and destination society (The United Arab Emirates). In relation to the causes , pull and push factors are considered . Third , the paper takes into account the consequences of this trend of migration in destination, origin and on migrants The effects would be related to the economic , social and cultural aspects of both societies and migrants. This study is based on both documentary and field informations . Field informations were collected from Iranian labor force in the United Arab Emirates . The paper suggests a few points regarding this migration and future bettermess of the migrants.
