The sample of study consists of 100 patients (mean age, 43/3 years old) selected through non-random convenient sampling procedure from the hospitals and clinics in Kermanshah. The measures used in the study included a demographic questionnaire, Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast (FACT-B) Version 4, and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Data was analyzed by using correlation analysis, and regression. Results: The results reveal a significant correlation between patients scores on the subscales of the FACT-B and HADS. There is a significant negative correlation between depression and anxiety with subscales of FACT-B (physical well-being, social/family well-being, emotional well-being, functional well-being and breast cancer subscales). Also, the regressive analysis shows that depression and anxiety can be explained 0/48 variance of health related to life quality (P<0/0001).Conclusion: It can be concluded that depression and anxiety in breast cancer patients can be important predictors of their health related to the life quality. So, measurements as well as treatment of depression and anxiety as the suitable ways to promote psychological health and quality of life are suggested.
