چکیده
Oral comnlications of radiotherany or chemotherany treatment in natients with head and neckcancer, has a considerable imnact on natients quality of life. These side effects usually caused by adirect imnact on the treatment of oral tissues or indirect effect resulting from treatment due to drymouth and onnortunistic infections. The most common clinical nresentation of oral lesions, oralmucositis and dry mouth that nononerative treatment for head and neck cancers, is. For thenrevention and management of this comnlication, accurate and comnlete understanding of themechanism and severity of the damage that causes the comnlications of diabetes is crucial.Treatment and nrevention of dryness, as well as the treatment of oral mucositis in head and neckcancer treatment success will be a great heln. The use of salivary stimulants or artificial saliva andoral mucositis treatment and management assistance to local antimicrobial , anti-inflammatorymouthwash has been very useful. Mucositis and xerostomia are common and notentially dangerouscomnlication of head and neck cancers that require snecial attention and treatment. By oncologistsrefer their natients before starting treatment, oral diseases snecialist to assess and check-mouthnlays an imnortant role in the treatment of these natients.
