چکیده مقاله:

Drug addiction is a public health challenge and a growing social problem that different factors are involved in addiction process. It is essential that, we know about effective factors in the formation of addiction for treat of this abnormality. By research in databases, it has been cleared that drug addiction has been conceptualized as a complicated and chronic disease that occurring in the brain and is modulated by genetic elements and environmental factors. CREB, b-fos and DARPP-32 are samples of gene elements are involved in addiction process. CREB is produced in response to dopamine and increases synthesis of proteins related to the reward system. b-fos is involved in drug sensitivity and DARP-32 is a cascade primer of signals that organize drug addiction. Therefore, by modulating these elements probably, can find a new way for treatment of drug addiction.
