چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, a geometry discretization approach is presented applicable for shallow water domains. This approach is based on an unstructured grid generation algorithm. Use of coarse initial grid, grid optimization and geometry boundary adaptations are among of the algorithm abilities. Point Insertion and Cell Subdivision (PICS) methods are applied to split grid cells. Two final unstructured grids are generated in domains with diversion flows and circular basin to show the application of the presented approach.
