Effect of Ni content on transmittance, reflectance and optical loss spectra of composite films based carbon

چکیده مقاله:

In this work, the optical constants of carbon films embedded by Ni nanoparticles under four deposition processing using mosaic targets made of carbon and nickel with Ni surface areas 1.78 - 4.64 %. A sharp decrease in the transmittance is observed at about around <400 nm attributed to the band edge absorption. The films exhibit a reflectance around <40% for the all range wavelength. It is shown that the waste of electrical energy as heat at 3.92 % has maximum value and with increasing energy it increases. The size of Ni nanoparticles for films deposited from 3.92 to 4.64 % increased
