Designing New Wavelet for ECG Analysis

In this paper, a new wavelet for analyzing the electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is evaluated and developed. The new wavelet is capable of analyzing ECG signals in high precision; also this wavelet has good noise suppression. This new wavelet has limited coefficients therefore the analyzed time is fast. Furthermore using filter banks makes the compression task easier [1]. Experimental results show a robust analyzing on different ECG samples that taken from MIT Physiobank.
