The effect of post curing conditions on polymer cement concrete properties

The effects of polyester resin percentage and post curing of polymer cement concrete composite were investigated with respect to the mechanical. The samples were characterized by compressive testing, tensile testing. The mechanical test results showed that increasing the polyester content in the polymer –concrete composite, resulted in an increase in the compressive and tensile strength of the samples. Enhancement of mechanical properties can be an evidence of increased cross-linking of the composite after post curing.
