چکیده مقاله:

Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) based on Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is currently one of the most affordable and operative energy resources as compared with other wind turbine generator structures. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is one of prominent subjects with respect to Wind Turbines (WT) specially Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). In this paper an effective Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) based sensor-less MPPT is presented for WECS. The proposed controller has precisely tracked the maximum power in wind speeds under the rated speed of wind turbine and also has maintained the nominal power in wind speeds upper the rated speed of wind turbine. In order to heighten the performance FLC-MPPT, it has been optimally tuned by Genetic Algorithm (GA) so thatoptimal power point tracking to be carried out. DFIG model along with relevant system controller has been simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Eventually, the simulation results have clearly presented the performance of suggested FLC-GA based sensor-less MPPT to optimally track the maximum power points.
