بررسی ارتباط بین امید به زندگی و کیفیت زندگی افراد مبتلا به زالی

This study aims to determine the relationship between life expectancy and the quality of life of people with albinism genetic defect. The statistical population contains all people with albinism in Babol and the targeted sample contains 23 of them. Data are collected with Hallajian life expectancy questionnaire and Varo-Sherbon quality of life (SF-36) questionnaire. The study was descriptive-correlative and the data were analyzed in SPSS by descriptive test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Kolmogorov- Smirnov normality test, and multivariate regression analysis at 0.05 significance level. The values show that life expectancy and quality of life variables have 0.423 correlation coefficient with p-value of 0.045, i.e. the relationship between these variables is statistically significance. Thus, despite of special condition of the people with albinism, they have high life expectancy and relatively favorable quality of life
