چکیده مقاله:
Today’s educational technology as well as other students are faced with a myriad of challenges, including the use of computer technology in teaching as well as in work place. A common assumption is that educational technology students bring with them the knowledge and ability to integrate the use of computer technology into teaching as well as applying that technology in work place to make their work more effective and efficient. Students’ preparation for the use of technology in teaching or in work place depends, to a large extent, on the training, enthusiasm, and comfort level of the faculty employed by the university from which these students graduated. The purpose of this study was to determine if educational technology students are fully prepared to use technology in teaching or in work place. Thirty-nine students completed a survey of computer technology skills at the end of their final emesterbefore graduation. Results suggested that they were not adequately prepared.
