A smart method based on the Imperialist CompetitiveAlgorithm for expanding security cameras coverage in aclosed environment

Nowadays, the use of security cameras in different places is verycommon. Due to the fact that the location of the camera is selectedexperimentally, failure in selection of an optimum place has alwaysbeen regarded as a great challenge. Furthermore, failure in the correctselection of the installation location can lead to having blind spots thatare not under the coverage of the cameras and in some cases causesmultiple imaging of a part of space by several different cameras, which,in turn, can lead to the redundancy of the stored images and finally aquick filling of the media storage capacity. Using the proposed newsmart method, the camera installation locations are selected bycomputer and in addition to covering the blind spots, the amount ofstorage media capacity is saved.
