چکیده مقاله:
The present research is aimed to study and discuss the relationship between the emotional intelligence and job motivation of the staff of the branches of the Social Security Organization in Kerman province. The statistical society of the research includes 671 individuals consisted of all the staff of the branchesof the Social Security Organization in Kerman province. The research sample size (volume) is assessed 200 individuals. The sampling method used in this research is random categorical method. The research method is of analytical and descriptive type; besides, the method used for data collection is acombination of library and field methods. In order to test and measure the emotional intelligence and job motivation of the staff we used a standard questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by means of SPSS software. To study the relationship between the emotional intelligence and job motivationvariables the Pierson correlation coefficient was used. The results obtained from the Pierson correlationtest showed that there is a direct and meaningful relationship between emotional intelligence and job motivation in the staff of the branches of the Social Security Organization in Kerman. Furthermore, among the components of the emotional intelligence variable, the emotions control component has themost effect on the job motivation and other components including emotions perception, social skills, and optimism have, respectively, most effects.
