چکیده مقاله:

In the present paper, the process of natural gas sweetening has been simulated using ASPEN-HYSYS program. The effects of changing in design parameter such as: amine solution concentration, volumetric flow rate of circulating amine, and temperature and pressure of lean amine onto the amount of separation of acid gases, equipment’s duty and water make-up required flow rate have been investigated. It has been concluded that increasing in DEA solution concentration causes increment in the amount of absorbed acid gas, duties of air cooler and re-boiler and the flow rate of make-up-water. In addition, it makes thermal load of condenser decreased.Increasing of circulating DEA solution flow rate, makes increasing in the amount of absorption, duties of air cooler and re-boiler. Also, it makes decreasing in make-up-water flow rate and duty of condenser.Additionally, it has been observed that condenser and re-boiler duties are not significantly affected by changing in temperature and pressure of entered lean amine solution, but as temperature increases, the amount of adsorbed CO2 and make-up-water flow rated increases too, and a decreasing in the amount of adsorbed H2S and air cooler thermal load takes place. On account of pressure increment, the amount of adsorbed acid gases and pump duty increases, and the flow rate of make-up-water decreases
