Evaluation of supply chain performance in Iran's automotive Industry

The present study seeks to evaluate the performance of the automotive industry's supply chain and different factors affecting it. The methodology was based on survey and questionnaire technique. The study subjects included managers and senior managers of manufacturer companies in SAPCO with grade A which totally amounted to 50 people. Also, because of low sample size, all 50 samples were considered for data collection.The results showed that the performance of the automotive industry supply chain can improve the quality of the product / services, increased reliability, cost-effective products / services and enhances the organization's resilience. The results of hypotheses testing also showed that the independent variables including market sensitivity, responsiveness, efficiency, and integration processes, and the dependent variable supply chain performance are related significantly. The results of multivariate regression on supply chain performance showed that the independent variables (sensitivity to the market accountability, efficiency, and integration processes) entered into equation, account for 74 percent of total variation in dependent variable automotive industry supply chain performance . And in the meantime, the variable process integration with a beta value 0.43 showed the highest contribution.
