Entropy of parallel system with dependent component lifetimes

Information measures of reliability systems has been widely studied in the statistical and reliability literatures. These findings were obtained when lifetimes of components are independent and identically distributed. In this paper, we explore properties of the entropy of parallel system’s lifetime when lifetimes of components are dependent and identically distributed. Specifically, we provide expressions for the entropy of the mentioned system’s lifetime.
