The effect of Nano oleuropein on Promoter gene demethylation and up regulate in prostate cancer cells

Glutation S-transfrase gene promoter is methylated in prostate cancer cells and considered as one of the most important marker for this type of cancer. Methylation is done by the DNA methyltransferase ) DNMT( genes from the product and the removing methyl cytosine from the CpG islands via the TeT gene products. The studies have shown that in prostate cancer cell lines the scale of the relative gene expression of DNMT increases more than normal cells.
