چکیده مقاله:

The overall goal of this research is to investigate the factors affecting mental health promotion of South Pars Gas Complex employees. For this end, mental health is defined according to Goldberg theory and factors affecting it are identified in 54 factors by studying books, articles and previous researches. The population of this study includes employees of South Pars gas complex that is 2200 people.The sample size based on Cochrane relationship is estimated to be 327 people and has been selected using stratified random sampling method.Data collection tools are two questionnaires; one is Goldberg mental health questionnaire and the other is the questionnaire of factors affecting employees' mental health promotion using factor analysis that was given to sample after assessing its reliability and validity. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods have been used for statistical analysis of data collected. Thus, descriptive statistical method has been used for classification, summarization and interpretation of statistical data and at inferential level, one-sample t-test has been used to measure the mental health and exploratory factor analysis has been used for identification of factors affecting the mental health promotion and Friedman test with spss software have been used for prioritization of factors affecting mental health promotion.The results indicate that the promotion of mental health of employees in South Pars Gas Complex is above average.Also according to the results obtained from exploratory factor analysis, 12 factors were identified from among the 54 primary factors affecting South Pars gas complex employees' mental health and were classified in three groups: personal factors, organizational factors and occupational factors
