The Role of Tourism in Free zones-Kish Island

Despite Great potentials of Kish Island as a famous area of Free zone, this Island hasn’t beenbeen successful in developing in comparison with other free zones in the Persian Gulf and also inthe Middle East like Dubai and Qeshm. So we`ve studied a role of Tourism as a powerful andinfluential tool for helping more to develop in free zones and particularly of course in KishIsland. After evaluation of data by SWOT model which have reached out from Questionnaireand finally comprise with other similar free zone in area, we found some parameters likeappropriate cost of services according to competitors, ethnic diversity and richness of historical,proximity to the Persian Gulf countries and free seas which are influence in advantages and alsoinclement weather in the seasons of year, international sanctions, economic instability areinfluence in disadvantages of this case study. According to result we`ve classified our offers intwo parts: The overall proposal and Partial Offers.
