Effect of Aqueous Extract of Entada Scandens on the Level of Estradiol Hormone in Female Mice

This experiment investigated the effects of Entada Scandens aqueous extract on the level of estradiol hormone in female mice. Fifteen female mice (6 weeks old), weighed 25–30 g, were randomly divided into three treatment groups: control group (Control), low-dose group (Low), and high-dose group (High). Low and High groups administered 100 mg/kg body weight/day and 200 mg/kg body weight/day of aqueous extract of E. Scandens by intraperitoneum (IP) injection for 21 days, respectively. Control group took distilled water in this period. Results showed that the levels of serum estradiol hormone and ovary weight of treatment groups did not decrease significantly compared to the control group
