Evaluation of Compliance of Crops in BaladarbandVill – Kermanshah City with Prevailing Environmental and Climatic Conditions

The climate is one of the most important factors that historically have considered and most of the agricultural activities during the day deal with one or more of Meteorological factors. The current study has used analytic-descriptive manner and statistical and meteorological data to evaluate the compliance of crops in BaladarbandVill – Kermanshah city with the environmental and climate conditions. The data are extracted from Kermanshah Weather site and GIS software is used to draw maps and. The results indicate that BaladarbandVillis located in the span of Mediterranean currents and has a semi-arid to temperate climates. Maximum humidity is in winter and late fall and early spring with an average annual rainfall of 400 mm and the maximum rainfall occurs in winter and spring. Elevation levels often are in the proper range. This suggests that the district has great potential for dry land farming especially in autumn and its growing has been in spring and summer and also the best time for sowing is late winter or early spring for the spring planting. Most of the crops grown in the region is wheat and barley which are the best product for the above conditions which can indicate to potential of the land.
