FROM 2015 TO 2115 IN A GLANCE

From the dawn of humanity to the modern age, it has always been a problem to find an answer to the question, what will happen next. In order to discover the future tens of forecasting methods were invented among which scenarios seem the most practical ones especially when we are studying long time futures. Scenarios are plausible stories about the future and since scenarios are the most powerful technic in foresight, foresight experts should be good storytellers if they want to tell about the futures that the society faces in 21st century. Storytelling itself is a relevant method when we are dealing with the future, and since it is very popular especially among those who are not familiar with the field, the author decided to use this technic to point some of the challenges and wildcards the world may face in the future in different areas of science and technology, sustainability, health and security
