چکیده مقاله:
The main focus of this paper is to design “A sub-۳mW ۱۸۰nm CMOS tunable cascode commonsource LNA with single ended input and single ended output” for radio frequency applications such as۴G/LTE transceivers using ۱۸۰nm TSMC ۱۸RF CMOS technological process. In modern RF electronics,we rarely design an LNA separately; rather, we view and design the RF chain as one entity, performingmuch iteration among the stages [۱]. The ۳۳rd frequency band of ۴G/LTE has been selected for this paperthat is containing frequency bandwidth of ۱۹۰۰-۱۹۲۰ MHz. CS stage with inductive degeneration thatemploys active devices to provide a ۵۰Ω input resistance without the noise of a ۵۰Ω resistor has beenused. The simulation results achieved minimum noise figure (NFmin) of ۱.۶۲ dB and voltage gain of۱۹.۴۸dB. The simulated input referred third order intercept point ( IIP۳ ) and ۱ - dB compression point(P۱dB) are found to be -۵.۹ dBm and -۱۰.۵ dBm respectively. With a power supply of ۱.۸V, thediscussed topology consumes ۲.۷mW only.
