چکیده مقاله:

The nanostructured perovskite oxide of La0.7K0.3CoO3 has been synthesized by a polymerized complexmethod based on the Pechini process. SEM picture of the perovskite sample showed that the particles sizes were closeto 100 nm. An attempt has been made to evaluate the performance of the prepared nanostructured peroskite oxide ascatalyst for CO removal from exhaust gas mixtures. It was shown that the introduction of K ion into the A-site ofperovskite oxide can cause the enhancement of Co valence state and lead to improving the catalytic activity. Thecatalytic activity of the nanostructured perovskite catalysts was measured at different temperatures from 100 to 300°Cwith an inlet gas mixture containing 97% N2, 1% CO and 4% O2. According to the obtained results, the catalystachieved 99% CO oxidation at 300°C. Hence, it can be considered as a potential candidate for developing catalyticconverters to remove carbon monoxide from automobile exhaust gas.
