چکیده مقاله:

At this work Clinoptilolite was studied as a highly crystalline and molecular sieve sorbent for gas separation. First of all,it was purified and then treated with hydrochloric acid via different strength from 0.5 to 2 molar. Finally, all the originalcations were replaced by hydronium ions, as well as the aluminium was progressively removed from the frameworks.The tailored clinoptilolite and original sample were characterized with XRF. Also their adsorption and separation abilitiesconsidered with adsorption test of single N2& CH4 gases. The results showed that, the adsorbent which was treated using0.5 molar solution, had more capacity & selectivity in favour of nitrogen while the adsorbent that was obtained using 2molar solution, was better adsorbent in favour of methane.
