چکیده مقاله Sustainable Exergy-Based Life Cycle Assessment of PMU Access Networks

Currently, the total energy consumption of the electric power generation (EPG) sector is continuously increas-ing due to the fast penetration of information and communi-cation technology (ICT) into many areas of business and industry. Particularly high growth rates have been observed in the area of technologies and applications for smart power grids. For this purpose, the integration of the two instruments, life cycle assessment (LCA), exergy analysis, which allowed us to study the thermodynamic irreversibility of the life cycle to the next. Exergy-based life cycle assessment (E-LCA), The use of exergy-based life cycle analysis focuses on the stability of power systems. The first study developed a model to be introduced in a lifetime exergy consumption, primarily for distribution substation equipment, smart grid infrastructure, such as servers, routers, generators, Breaker, Recloser, Load-Break Switch, Phase Measurement Unit (PMU), Global Position System (GPS), telecommunications stations, produce, distribute and transmit the after that, create a database for different devices with the aim of combining the disassembly analysis of aggregate energy consumption data based on library research, production, operation and process raw material. Even through the use phase is very important because of the high energy consumption and related greenhouse emissions of power system infrastructures, it is just a part of the story. The whole life cycle, i.e., also the production and disposal phases should be considered when determining sustainability of smart power grids networks, especially because of the relatively short life-cycle of ICT devices. In this paper , we report results of a stud that apply widely used thermodynamic tools in combination with network modeling to assess sustainability of PMU access networks. In particular, we utilize the concept of available energy or exergy to determine the environmental impact of the whole life cycle of PMU access network infrastructure and present results of a case study of PMU access network for the count- ry of iran.
