Locating and Designing a Healing Village with Sustainable Development approach (Case Study: Shahrood city)

Health is the main pillars of sustainable development. Society will have the dynamism and vitality, when citizens have good mental and physical health. Nowadays, due to the increasing technology and people being away from nature,increasing pollution. Poor diet and lack of exercise, remoteness and isolation from the community; the need for the development and promotion of community health centers are felt. The reasons of design and construction of the healing village are relaxation,therapy,temporary resting and break away from urban stresses and pollution and treatment of mental and physical aspects of the entire population. Because of the extent of the needs within different groups of age, This project is considered for retired and people over age of 45 years old, but the idea of this project and research includes the entire population aged 18 years old and above. Use of clean and renewable energy, smart materials and design methods of psychological spaces in order to advance the objectives of sustainable development in the study. This research is analytical and practical. The site for the project is located 45 km north of the city of shahrood on the site of the cloud forest (Jangal_e_Abr) with area of approximately 50 acres which is acres of it is used for the design and the rest is for future development. The set design is based on scientific principles and was also inspired by the similar examples in the world, and initial plans to become familiar with the area has been proposed. Finally, to obtain a suitable model for the development of the healing villages in the vicinity of other countries and cities are the goals and results of this research.
