Fuzzy Logic Based Environment Light Intensity Control System

This paper presents an approach to automated lightcontrol using fuzzy logic rules. The controller controls thenumber of lamplights as for the number of people inside room.The main objective is to demonstrate how fuzzy logic canminimized the number of lamp used. Fuzzy logic basedcontroller, simulated and tested to predict behaviour ofcontroller. In this study, fuzzy logic has the ability to makedecision as to how much the light intensity is needed bycontrolling the number of lamps in the room. This study hasachieved its objective, which is to design a fuzzy logic systemintegrated with hardware circuit of automated light controllerusing fuzzy logic to control light intensity in a room. In thisstudy, tests cases have illustrated that fuzzy logic controlmethod could be a suitable alternative method to conventionalcontrol methods.
