چکیده مقاله:

This study investigated the relationship between sense of humor, self-efficacy and emotionalintelligence among a sample of EFL teachers. The required data was gathered through relatedquestionnaires. SPSS was utilized for tabulating the data and conducting descriptive statistics.Simple path analysis framework using the Amos Program with maximum likelihood estimationwas also employed to examine the direct and indirect effects of the relationships among variablesin the mediation models. The results revealed that sense of humor could positively predict selfefficacyand emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence also significantly predicted selfefficacy.Another line of the findings showed that sense of humor could indirectly affect selfefficacythrough the mediation of emotional intelligence. Implications are discussed andsuggestions were made for future research.
