Study of human errors effect on severity of road accident (Case study Behbahan)

Driving accidents are considered horrible events for societies, so they attempt to decrease accident numbers and severities. These factors such as: vehicles, human, road and environmental condition have fundamental roles in occurrence of driving accidents. The human factor covers the maximum percentage of causes in accidents in Iran and world. Behbahan is an important point in movement of goods and people because it's located among tree transportation roads, and the number of its accident driving accidents is significant for its high traffic volume. By considering the accident information forms in this study, a descriptive study of accident statistics and their cause was done in mentioned geographical area. Finally, two main hypotheses about the effect of human errors on accident frequency were studied. It was determined there isn't a significant relation between the time of accident and numbers of accidents owing to human errors.
