چکیده مقاله:
Salvia (Salvia officinalis L.) is a perennial plant of the family Lamiaceae, with a great importance in the cosmetics industry, pharmacy and health. Which has great importance to the cosmetics and health industry. Given that environmental factors cause changes in the quantity and quality of ingredients they grow herbs. Therefore, the qualitative properties of the essential constituents of the indigenous populations can identify a suitable habitat quality and quantity of plants with medicinal active ingredients are remarkably useful. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to 1,8-cineole and α-Thujene of Salvia officinalis L. populations at different heights in three different sites of Kaleibarchai, Hajilarchai and Mrdanqum areas, Arasbaran region. Essential oil was obtained using Clevenger and GC/MS was used to determine percentage and composition of the essential oil compounds. Major compounds of Salvia officinalis L. essential oil were Camphor and β-Thujone. Results of phytochemical studies also showed that the maximum amount of active ingredients of essential oil (1,8-cineole 34/5%) was observed in Kaleibarchai basinis. Results of phytochemical studies also showed that the maximum amount of active ingredients of essential oil (α-Thujene 4/2%) was observed in Hajilarchai basinis.
