چکیده مقاله:

The global economic environment presents new challenges and unique opportunities for business leaders. As organizations — from multinational corporations to small-business startups — seek to benefit from ongoing development in these rapidly changing markets, they must learn how to maintain adaptive, high-productivity workplaces and grow their customer bases in widely varying social, cultural, and economic environments.Due to development of technology, business companies are making use of advanced techniques of operation. As sophistication of technologies increases, it cause more challenges for managers because organizations will have to need more number of employees with increased technical and professional skills. These knowledge workers cannot be managed with old styles of totalitarian management. They expect operational autonomy, job satisfaction and status. It is because of these facts that attention of managers is shifting towards employees in the organizations.
