چکیده مقاله:

The project selection according to success factors and allocation of resources toward goals, as to keep all stakeholders satisfied, remain major problems in information system development projects. Whereas several success factors appear in the literature, most of them are not frequently discussed within the project context. Based on the project triangle, the current paper categorizes project success criteria into time, financial, product, and project team/organisation. Further, as the development of information systems should be new and distinct from existing, innovation is added as the fifth category. A fuzzy delphi method is conducted to identify the most important factors affecting success of projects. Accordingly, the Analytical Hierarchical Process is used to obtain the importance ranking of factors and sub-factors. Path analysis is used to identify the causal paths or relationships between these factors. Results of path analysis show that product factor significantly are affected by innovation acceptance, time and financial factors
