چکیده مقاله:
The usage of paper is prefered in comparison to other sources for packaging purposes considering some properties such as cheapness, renewable nature, biodegradablity, beingenviromentally friendly and recyclability. Interest in nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) has increased notably over recent decades. Cellulose nanofibers have extraordinary high strengths. Cellulose is the most abundant renewable biopolymer on Earththat is aninexhaustible raw material has many advantages such as good mechanical properties, low cost, and is biodegradable. nano-cellulose composed of nanoscale cellulose fibers, which typically has a transverse dimension 5-02 nm and a wide range of lengths of tens nanometers to several microns. Wood, wood waste, agricultural waste, etc are sources of nano-cellulose production. In this study in addition to introducing a varietyof nano-cellulose, cellulose nano production methods and applications of nanocellulose, The economic and environmental benefits of nano-cellulose is examined.Cellulose nanofibers have unique properties such as large specific surface, high level of chemical activity, high crystallinity, Young's modulus and high strength. Beingbiodegradable, renewability and abundance and cheapness of nano-cellulose also resulted in the recent years applied in the paper as reinforcing strength properties, Interdiction and physical or in pure form. This substance has very good preventingcapabilities so that it makes possible increase of its consumption in papers, used in thefood industry. Also, this substance can lead to increase of sedimentation of fibers inthe paper-making industry. Therefore according to specific characteristics of nanopaper such as low thermal expansion (like a silicon crystal), high resistance incompared with the soft steel, ease of bending like plastic and high transparency such as glass nano-paper that made of nano-cellulose has high potential in paper and packaging industry.
